Founded in October 2023 by scuba diving enthusiast Yohan Abeyesekera, our vision is to provide extravagant liveaboard scuba diving tours of Sri Lanka, partnering with professionals to deliver a customised scuba diving adventure and experience to our guests, both dedicated divers and non-diving companions, combining a resort with thrilling diving.

With over thirty years of experience in scuba diving and over twenty years of instructing students to be safe, competent and conservative divers, our founder is no stranger to scuba adventures. Serendib Scuba’s exceptional standards and attention to detail are evident not only in its service portfolio but also in its partnerships with some of the leading service providers in the country.

Serendib Scuba also promotes and supports conservation and sustainable scuba diving activities to preserve the rich marine bio diversity that surrounds us!

Sri Lanka is home to some of the oceans unique ecosystems, where fragile biodiversities are visibly impacted by both local and global environmental impacts. The island faces significant challenges in tackling plastic pollution and other threats to our ocean.
